Aron Friedman has been a dedicated member of Amsterdam’s nightlife for quite a few years. As a dedicated promoter and music journalist he’s had his share in reviving the city’s club culture. As a dj he is known to play soulful and powerful dance music, ranging anywhere from dreamy deep house to thumping techno, making each and every dj-set a true musical journey.
Aron has played an active part in the clubscene since he co-founded Traffic, one of Amsterdam’s longest running techno nights. Then as co-organizer for Mono, which is still running as part of Free Your Mind Festival. And between 2005 and 2008 he’s written a lot about the clubscene for some of Holland’s leading music media (3VOOR12.nl and DJBroadcast Magazine). Most recently, he’s started to promote Crackhouse together with Carlos Valdes and Brent Roozendaal.
Aron has spent a lot of time in the studio with Noah Pepper and Julien Chaptal as Le Clic. The three of them toured initensively for three years, forging an impressive live collaboration, first captured on vinyl on the Jack Is Whack EP. In 2008, Aron decided to focus more on his production skills and is currently working on a solo release
