ALESSANDRO SENSINI was born in 1985 in Camerino (MC-Italy). After 15 years of playing the violin, and many other forms of classical music, he became intrigued by the charm of electronic music. At the age of 17 he bought a second hand consolle with a friend and began to delve deeper in to electronic and house music. After a few years, he discovered his passion for basic and minimal music, that finally lead him to follow deep-techno and tech-house style. This is how he would define the style he plays in his sets. In 2006 he began to play with 2 friends, carlo e marco, and so the C.AL.M.A (c.arlo al.essandro ma.rco) was born!

The turning point in their career occurred in September 2007 when they joined Shape Associated, which gave them the oppotunity to improve their techniques and to play in some of the most established Italian clubs. They were soon regarded as talented and highly-esteemed artists, and then become resident DJs at the well-known PLAYHOUSE GOES TO KINDERGARTEN nights and ALTAVOZ (Bologna). There they have had the chance to share the decks with renowned artists such as Troy Pierce, Marco Carola, John Geiser, Konrad Black, Fabrizio Maurizi, Andre Galluzzi, Ben Klock…to name a few.

In 2009 Alessandro started his own individual productions, and soon after won the “ultimate dj competition” at Cassero, arguably the best club in Bologna. He also began working closely with Nick Curly, releasing five tracks on his esteemed label, Cécille Records. Alessandro has many releases in the pipeline, as well as remixes achieved all this in his first year of working solo.
